About Us
Shri Madhav College of Education Technology Library was established in 2005 to serve academic services for students and faculty members. The SMCET Library is equipped with Koha Library Management Software and use Bar-code technology through which information about library materials, Books, National, International Journals, magazines, newspapers can be accessed online by all the faculty members and students. Library OPAC is Web wide (SMCET Lib.) online useful links that can be accessed by library OPAC users to access e-books, e-journals, e-encyclopedia and etc. Library OPAC provides list of new Arrivals in the library online to students and faculty. Library information can be checked very easily by multiple students at a time. The SMCET Library provides a comfortable open stack environment for study. The library has got the necessary infrastructure and facilities including electronic information resources to meet the requirement of both students and faculty members. The Library occupies a unique place in academic and co-curricular activities of the college. The Library presently operates from a large area on the campus with a provision of 100 seats accommodation in reading hall.
