Bachelor of Education

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is also under graduate. The eligibility criterion for enrolling in the B.Ed. course is requiring a graduation-level qualification (10+2+3). The duration of the B.Ed. course  is two years it was modified in 2015 for two year NCTE has suggested new course ITEP on the place of B.Ed. which extended from two years to four years, the NCTE mandates a minimum of 50% for General Category candidates and 45% for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates.

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree has become a mandatory qualification for teaching at the secondary (classes 6 to 10) and higher secondary (10+2 or classes 11 and 12) levels in India.
